Description

Valeria Ronzitti is General Secretary of SGI Europe since May 2012. She reached this position after having worked for the organisation for nine years, first as Head of Social Affairs and then as Director. Alongside her functions in SGI Europe, she was also, from 2005 to 2010, Director of HOSPEEM, the European Hospital and Healthcare Employers Association, that she contributed to set up as a sectoral member of SGI Europe. Ms Ronzitti is also Vice-President of the European Movement International since 2020, and a member of the Fit4Future Platform, led by European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič. She has also been a member of the plenary of the Conference on the Future of Europe, playing a central role in shaping the content of its conclusions.
