Description
Miriam Pinto Lomeña is responsible for international affairs in the Department of Employment, Diversity and Social Protection in the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE). She has more than 16 years of work experience in business organisations at the national level as well as extensive experience in social affairs (employment, collective bargaining, education, training and occupational risk prevention) and institutional representation and participation at the international level (BusinessEurope, European Commission, International Organization of Employers (IOE), International Labour Organization (ILO) and Business at OECD). Miriam has been part of the negotiating team in the latest social dialogue agreements in Spain, including the Social Agreements for the Defence of Employment (six agreements to negotiate short-time working schemes during COVID-19), the Distance Working Law, the Rider Law and the very recent Labour Market Reform. She is a graudate in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with a Master in MBA and Public Sector Governance.
