The 2021 Symposium on Digitalisation and Finance in Asia is delivered with support from the Government of Japan.
Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA) addresses regulatory and technological issues to support digital innovation in an integrated manner through "FinTech Innovation Hub". "FinTech Innovation Hub" was established in July 2018 to deepen understandings about latest technologies and business trend in FinTech for the better policy making. The specific initiatives include the contribution to the Blockchain Governance Initiative Network (BGIN), the Blockchain Multilateral Joint Research Project, the FIN/SUM symposiums, and FinTech PoC Hub.
Established in March 2020, BGIN provides an open and neutral sphere for all stakeholders to deepen common understanding and to collaborate to address issues they face in order to attain sustainable development of the blockchain community. BGIN's core value and activities are consistent with the 2019 G20 Osaka Summit Declaration, which underscores the importance to pursue a wider stakeholder cooperation in the governance of the emerging decentralized financial system. JFSA contributes to BGIN's activities by playing critical roles as an initial contributors and acting secretariat to the Steering Committee.
Anyone who is interested in the BGIN can join the discussion.
