Description

Craig is a company director of some of Australia's largest corporations following an extensive senior executive career in financial services, including as CEO of AMP Limited from 2008 to 2013. Craig is currently Chairman of the International Standards Technical Committee on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (ISO/TC 307). He is a Director of Westpac and Chairman of the Westpac Board Remuneration Committee, and a member of each of the Board Risk and Board Nominations & Governance Committees. He is also a Director of Telstra Corporation Limited and Chairman of the Telstra Audit and Risk Committee. Craig is also the Chairman of the Australian Ballet as well as a member of its’ Audit & Risk Committee, the Nominations & Remuneration Committee and the MAPR Committee. He is a consultant to King & Wood Mallesons, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Craig was previously a director of Financial Literacy Australia Limited, and a Board member of the Australian Japanese Business Cooperation Committee. He is also a former Chair of the Investment and Financial Services Association (now the Financial Services Council), the Australian Government’s Fintech Advisory Group and Stone & Chalk Limited. Craig was also a member of the Financial Services Advisory Committee, the Australian Financial Centre Forum, the Consumer and Financial Literacy Taskforce and a Panel member of the Australian Government’s Financial System Inquiry.
