Description
Ms. Anat Guetta serves as the Chairwoman of the Israeli Securities Authorities since January 2018.
From the first day of her term, Anat consistently leads the transformation of the Israeli capital market by promoting financial innovation; creating an attractive regulatory environment for leading local and global participants; and by tightening the linkage between the Israeli Hi Tech scene and the Israeli capital market. Among others, Anat promoted a new regulatory architecture to establish digital trading platforms; initiated and approved some new investment alternatives; changing the patterns of financial services consumption by increasing competition level through enhancing fin-tech access; and many other initiatives.
Ms. Guetta co-founded Entropy Financial Research Services Ltd., which advises institutional investors on corporate governance, proxy voting, and activity in the capital market. She served as CEO of the firm from its inception in December 2010 until August 2017. During her tenure, she advised institutional investors, created a platform for cooperation with Entropy's U.S. counterpart (ISS), and led the development of a voting policy, a corporate governance index, and a debt management policy. In 2005, Ms. Guetta led the formation of Arko Holdings Ltd., which is traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and served as CEO of the firm from its inception until 2008.
In the years 1993 to 2005, Ms. Guetta served in various positions in Bank Mizrahi-Tefahot Ltd. In her last position in the bank, as an economist in the business banking division, she developed and managed the area of credit risk products, allocation of credit to institutional investors, and project finance.
Ms. Guetta holds an MBA ('05) with a specialization in finance from Netanya Academic College and a BA ('93) in Political Science and Economics from Bar Ilan University.
