Global Forum on Competition

The Global Forum brings together high-level competition officials from over 100 authorities and organisations worldwide to debate a wide range of key and emerging competitioissues including the link between competition policy and other cornerstones of economic development. 

Debates at the 2019 forum will focus on competition under fire, competition provisisions in trade agreements, merger control in dynamic markets, competition for the market and Digital case lab. Jean Tirole, Honorary Chairman of the Jean-Jacques Laffont-Toulouse School of Economics Foundation and chairman of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) will deliver a video Keynote address at the Opening session of the Forum.

Coming sessions

The Global Forum on Competition is now one of the most plural and effective incubators of innovative competition policies. It provides support to competition authorities and addresses some of the most complex challenges in this area.
