Description
Dr. Hans Zenger is Head of Unit at the Chief Economist Team of DG Competition (European Commission) and President of the Association of Competition Economics (ACE). Prior to re-joining the Commission, he was a Vice President at CRA's European Competition Practice in Brussels. Hans has led the economic analysis in a large number of phase 2 merger investigations and antitrust cases.
Hans holds an M.Sc. in economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Munich. He has published widely on antitrust law & economics in journals such as the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Antitrust Law Journal and the Journal of Health Economics.
