Workshops for competition officials

Two workshops open to competition authorities took place back-to-back to this event.

This workshop explored developments concerning ex officio investigations against bid rigging. The workshop discussed updates on data screening techniques, advocacy initiatives to prompt reports of suspicious conduct to competition authorities and cases based on whistle blowers reports.

The workshop focused on the enforcement challenges encountered by agencies throughout OECD jurisdictions in digital market cases. Participants gained valuable insights into the latest enforcement cases in the digital market, with a specific focus on the unique challenges it presents. The workshop explored how agencies successfully navigated and resolved these challenges and discuss whether similar concerns are shared by other agencies and if comparable solutions could be applied.
