Description
Michal Gal is Professor and Director of the Forum on Law and Markets at the Faculty of Law, Haifa University, Israel. She held research and visiting positions at NYU, Columbia, Georgetown, Melbourne, Sciences Po and Lisbon. Ms Gal is the author of several books, including Competition Policy for Small Market Economies (Harvard University Press, 2003), and numerous scholarly articles on competition law issues. She served as a consultant to several international organisations (including OECD and UNCTAD) on issues of competition law in small and developing economies.
Michal Gal is a non-governmental advisor of the International Competition Network and the Chair of the international Academic Society for Competition Law. She holds a JSD and an LLM from the University of Toronto, and an LLB (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University.
