Description
Ryan Tansey is the Chief of the Antitrust Division’s Washington Criminal Section I at the U.S. Department of Justice.
Prior to his return to the Antitrust Division, Ryan Tansey spent five years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Alaska, where he prosecuted and tried an array of federal cases involving bribery, securities fraud, murder for hires, pill mills, fentanyl trafficking and various wildlife and environmental crimes.
Before joining the DOJ, Ryan Tansey was an antitrust attorney at WilmerHale in New York for nearly five years where he focused on civil and criminal antitrust litigation.
He is a 2012 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law.
