Description
Cécile Goubet is the Managing Director of the Institut de la Finance Durable (IFD), leading initiatives to promote sustainable finance and mobilize private capital for the ecological and energy transition. She is also a member of the Sustainability Standing Committee Consultative Working Group (SSC CWG) at ESMA, contributing to the development of sustainability standards and policies in financial markets.
With over 15 years of experience in energy and ecological transition, Cécile has collaborated with financial institutions, public authorities, and industry organizations to design and implement strategies for decarbonization and energy efficiency. Before joining IFD, she advised the French Minister of Energy Transition on issues such as energy sobriety, efficiency, and decarbonization.
Previously, Cécile held prominent roles at Caisse des Dépôts and the Directorate General for Energy and Climate. As Executive Director of Avere France (2018–2022), she led national initiatives to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility. A frequent speaker at global events, she actively contributes to discussions on sustainable finance and ecological transition
