Description
Eva was appointed Head of the Policies and Networks Division in the Development Co-operation Directorate on 1 November 2024. She joined the Organisation in 2013, where she initially served as Policy Analyst and subsequently as Head of Unit and Counsellor to the Director in the Public Governance Directorate. She then pursued at the Programme, Budget and Financial Management Service of the Executive Directorate, the first two years as Senior Counsellor to the Head of Service, then as Head of the Engagement and Strategic Transformation Division.
Before joining the OECD, Eva was Deputy Chief of Staff and Budget Advisor to a member of the Belgian Federal Government, and held various positions within the Belgian Development Agency, including Governance Advisor (HQ), Budget Support/Tax Administration Reform Advisor (Mozambique) and Assistant to the Resident Representative (Algeria). She was also a researcher and fellow at the Public Governance Institute (KU Leuven).
A Belgian national, Eva holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Public Management) from KU Leuven University, higher degrees in both Economics and Business Administration (KU Leuven), and a master’s degree in Project Evaluation and Management (Institute of Development Policy, Antwerp) and Social and Cultural Anthropology (KU Leuven).
