Description

Simon is Head of Impact Debt at Ashmore, the emerging markets (EM) specialist asset manager. He joined Ashmore in October 2024 to build out Ashmore's impact investing capabilities, with the first fund launches planned for later this year. Prior to Ashmore, Simon spent 13 years at Insight Investment, most recently as an EM Corporate Debt Portfolio Manager and as the Lead Portfolio Manager on sustainable and impact strategies. Simon holds a BA in History from Durham University, is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charterholder.
