Modris Stasuls has served as the Deputy Head of Unit for Prevention and Disaster Risk Management in DG ECHO at the European Commission since July 2017.
Previously, he also worked as Head of Analytical Sector, Team Leader of Analysis and Information Management, Team Leader for Operations in the Emergency Response Coordination Centre in the same Directorate-General (ECHO) at the European Commission in 2012-2017.
He worked as Head of Section Crisis Management and Business Continuity, Surveillance and Response Support Unit in the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), before joining the European Commission.
