It will include a panel discussion on how governments, multilateral development banks (MDBs) and the private sector can help to unlock adaptation investment at scale.

Mobilising for climate action: Countries, MDBs and private sector implementing the Paris Agreement

The event will discuss how mobilising climate finance from the private sector is key to delivering on the goals of the Paris Agreement. The session will focus on the role of donor and developing country governments, MDBs, and private investors in scaling up and accelerating private finance towards climate action in emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs), including through country platforms and the deployment of innovative financial instruments.
