Description
Elisa Lanzi is a Senior Economist at the Climate, Water and Biodiversity Division of the OECD Environment Directorate. She is the Head of the Climate Change Mitigation team, currently working on climate mitigation policies and their potential to transform our economies and reduce emissions. Previously, Elisa worked on trade and the environment, modelling for environmental policy analysis, with focus on air pollution, climate change, and the circular economicy. She also worked on climate change impacts, the competitiveness impacts of climate policies, climate change adaptation, and green innovation. Before joining the OECD, she worked at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) in the modeling team of the Sustainable Development Division, where she focused on applied economic modelling to assess sustainability and analysis of the economic consequences of climate policies. She owns a PhD in Economics from the University of Venice, a Master in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from University College London, and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of St Andrews.
