Graduated from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Sorbonne with a master’s degree in development economics, Camille Le Jean has been working in the field of sustainable cities for 17 years, including 10 years at Expertise France. She coordinated the French Partnership for Cities and Territories and later managed urban projects in Africa and the Caribbean. Prior to her tenure at Expertise France, she was a local development expert, working with civil society organizations in France and spending four years in the French network in Niger. For the past two years, she has led the Urban Development and Circular Economy Division. Together with her team, she supports partners in implementing urban development projects (land planning, urban services, mobility, etc.) and circular economy initiatives (pollution prevention, sustainable and resource-efficient consumption and production practices).
Diplômée de l’Université Paris II Panthéon-Sorbonne et titulaire d’un master 2 en Économie du Développement, Camille Le Jean travaille pour des villes durables depuis 17 ans, dont 10 ans à Expertise France. Elle a coordonné le Partenariat français pour la ville et les territoires, puis a été responsable de projets urbains en Afrique et dans les Caraïbes. Avant Expertise France, elle était experte en développement local et a travaillé pour des organisations de la société civile en France et a également passé 4 ans dans le réseau français au Niger. Depuis 2 ans, elle est responsable du Pôle Développement urbain et Economie circulaire. Avec son équipe, elle accompagne les partenaires dans la mise œuvre de projets de développement urbain (aménagement du territoire, services urbains, mobilité, etc.) et d’économie circulaire (lutte contre les pollutions, modes de consommation et de production durables et sobres).
