Brilé Anderson has been managing the Climate, Urbanisation, and Environment programme at the Sahel and West Africa Club (SWAC) at the OECD for the past three years. In this role, she works closely with local and regional actors, including UEMOA and CGLU Afrique. Before joining SWAC, Brilé was part of the Environmental Directorate for over four years, focusing on the decarbonisation of buildings and heavy industry in OECD member countries. She collaborated with diverse range policymakers from the Netherlands, UK, Israel, to Korea. Brilé completed her PhD on the cross over between behavioural economics and climate change mitigation while working as a researcher at the Institute for Environmental Decisions in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked in microfinance and was based in Kampala, Uganda. Currently, Brilé serves on advisory boards for Climate Services for Risk Reduction in Africa, led by WASCAL Climate, and the Technical Committee for the Africa Climate Mobility Initiative in Niger. She previously served on the Technical Advisory Board for Heavy Industry in the UK and the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee for the Plan Climat in Paris. Brilé Anderson gère depuis trois ans le programme Climat, Urbanisation et Environnement du Club du Sahel et de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (CSAO) de l'OCDE. À ce titre, elle travaille en étroite collaboration avec les acteurs locaux et régionaux, dont l'UEMOA et CGLU Afrique. Avant de rejoindre le CSAO, Brilé a fait partie de la Direction de l'environnement de l’OCDE pendant plus de quatre ans, se concentrant sur la décarbonisation des bâtiments et de l'industrie lourde dans les pays membres de l'OCDE. Elle a collaboré avec divers décideurs politiques des Pays-Bas, du Royaume-Uni, d'Israël et de Corée. Brilé est titulaire d’un doctorat sur le croisement entre l'économie comportementale et l'atténuation du changement climatique alors qu'elle travaillait comme chercheuse à « l'Institute for Environmental Decisions » à Zurich, en Suisse. Avant ses études doctorales, elle a travaillé dans le domaine de la microfinance à Kampala, en Ouganda. Actuellement, Brilé siège aux conseils consultatifs des « Climate Services for Risk Reduction in Africa », dirigé par WASCAL Climate, et au « Technical Committee for the Africa Climate Mobility Initiative », au Niger. Auparavant, elle a siégé au conseil technique de « Heavy Industry » au Royaume-Uni et au comité de suivi et d'évaluation du Plan Climat de Paris.
