Programme Manager - Climate, Urbanisation and Environment
Description
Brilé Anderson has been managing the Climate, Urbanisation, and Environment programme at the Sahel and West Africa Club (SWAC) at the OECD for the past three years. In this role, she works closely with local and regional actors, including UEMOA and CGLU Afrique. Before joining SWAC, Brilé was part of the Environmental Directorate for over four years, focusing on the decarbonisation of buildings and heavy industry in OECD member countries. She collaborated with diverse range policymakers from the Netherlands, UK, Israel, to Korea. Brilé completed her PhD on the cross over between behavioural economics and climate change mitigation while working as a researcher at the Institute for Environmental Decisions in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked in microfinance and was based in Kampala, Uganda. Currently, Brilé serves on advisory boards for Climate Services for Risk Reduction in Africa, led by WASCAL Climate, and the Technical Committee for the Africa Climate Mobility Initiative in Nige
