Description
Mehdi Bary, Vice President, is a member of the Fundamental Fixed Income ESG Investment Research team. He conducts fundamental thematic research on ESG risks and opportunities at entity level, across sovereigns and corporates, and at transaction level. He focuses specifically on Emerging Markets. Prior to this role, Mehdi was a member of the iShares Research & Innovation team. He led the design of index/beta investment strategies for iShares fixed income Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Before that, Mehdi worked as quantitative researcher at S&P. Mehdi holds a Master's degree in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Imperial College. He graduated from Universite Paris Dauphine with a bachelor degree in Economics, summa cum laude. Outside of work, Mehdi is interested in Continental Europe Philosophy, and interwar art movements.
