Description
Assia Elgouacem is the Head of the Tax and Environment Unit at the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration. Her work focuses on the intersection of environmental and energy policy, fiscal policy and economic growth. She has held various economist roles within the OECD, contributing to research on carbon taxation, fossil-fuel subsidy reform, and the fiscal impacts of climate transition. Assia holds a PhD and Master’s in Economics from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Philosophy from Middlebury College.
