Description
Gerhard Huemer is working as the Director of Economic and Fiscal Policy at SMEunited since 1999. In this role, he leads the association's work on policies that support the economic environment for SMEs in Europe, focusing on macroeconomic coordination, state aid, tax policy, SME finance, sustainable finance, and innovation. Prior to this, Gerhard has worked at the Austrian Economic Chamber as Deputy Director of the Economic Policy Department. Gerhard is a graduate of the University of Linz in Economic and Social Science and Policy.
