Description
Vicky Charisi is a Research Scientist at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission at the Unit of Digital Transformation.
With her research, she contributes to the understanding of the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics on Human Behaviour, with a special interest on children. She designs and conducts empirical studies and provides scientific evidence for decision making in the area of AI in education in a European and Global level. Vicky has co-authored more than 60 publications and she serves as a chair at the IEEE Society of Computational Intelligence, Cognitive and Developmental Systems, Task Force on Human-Robot Interaction.
Vicky is currently finalizing her Ph.D. thesis at the UCL, Institute of Education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Musicology and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Didactics, and Evaluation both from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
