Developments in digital security policy have lagged behind wider digital transformation and yet security is foundational to a successful digital transformation. At the centre of digital transformation is products and services used by consumers, governments, businesses and organisations globally. The ability for consumers, businesses and organisations to trust in the digital products and services is increasingly important. Given that digital security issues are global, there is a collective need to strengthen the foundations.
This panel will discuss policy approaches to incentivise the adoption of effective digital security across products and services. It will explore how these approaches might support the global movement to strengthen the foundations of the digital transformation and the future economy.
