H.E. Mrs Nadia Ernzer is a career diplomat who has carried out different missions within the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA) and the European institutions. At national level, she worked on sub-Saharian Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Balkans and Turkey, notably in the context of the Luxemburg presidencies of the Council of the European Union in 2005 and 2015. From 2016 to 2020, she was Deputy Secretary General of the MFEA. At international level, she was based in Vienna early in her career and covered inter alia UN files. She spent seven years within the European institutions, at the General Secretariat of the Council and at the European External Action Service, mainly dealing with Russia. She was also Ambassador to Albania. In summer 2022, Mrs. Ernzer has been nominated Luxembourg Ambassador to OECD and UNESCO.
