Description
Simon is the UK Government's Director of Propriety and Ethics. He is responsible for advising the Prime Minister and Cabinet Secretary (Head of the Civil Service) on issues relating to integrity. His team has responsibility for the integrity frameworks within government such as the Ministerial Code, the Civil Service Code and the Special Adviser Code of Conduct. Simon also oversees the public appointments system and the framework and policy relating to public inquiries.
Simon also chairs the OECD Working Party on Public Integrity and Anti-Corruption (PIAC)
