Description

Meredith Bearden is a Director of ESG Strategy and M&A for Sustainable1 at S&P Global representing the company’s integrated sustainability offerings and providing customers with a 360-degree view to help achieve their sustainability goals. She is responsible for helping to drive the strategy for enterprise-wide efforts to accelerate ESG, sustainability, impact, and energy transition. She works cross-divisionally with partners, potential targets, and clients to drive ESG initiatives. Prior to her current role, Meredith was an Associate Director within the Energy and Commodities group at S&P Global Market Intelligence. She was responsible for the growth and development of the energy segment and expansion strategies for renewable energy and international energy transition, as well as working to support ESG product and thought leadership initiatives across the company. Previously, she worked in several other capacities at S&P guiding clients through data, news, and research solutions to progress their own energy transitions. Meredith has a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
