Description

Dia leads the development and implementation of initiatives to align HSBC’s financed emissions globally to net-zero outcomes by 2050, including defining interim sector targets and operationalising the Group’s climate strategy. Prior to joining Group Sustainability, she delivered strategic change across Risk, Compliance and Analytics; synthesising macroeconomic trends, geopolitical dynamics and regulatory developments to solve complex problems. Dia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Economics and Environmental Science from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science degree in Financial Risk Management from the London School of Economics.
