Description

Stéphane Villecroze is cofounder and Managing Partner of Demeter. Demeter is a major player in venture capital and private equity for the green transition. It invests from €1m to €30m to support companies at all stages of their development: innovative startups, high growth SMEs and infrastructure projects. Between 2001 and 2005, Stéphane was head of business units for Veolia Environment. Prior to Veolia, Stephane held the positions of head of territorial services for the Ministry of Ecology, Energy, and Sustainable Development, responsible for construction and management of roads, ports and airports. He was also director of local water authority. Stéphane holds Master’s degrees from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées. He is co-author of several books including “The SMEs and the Environment Market” and “Growth capital: The exit solutions guide”.
