The Blue Dot Network provides an internationally recognised certification to assist countries in pursuing investments that maximise the positive economic, social, environmental and development impact of infrastructure.
On 8-9 April 2024, the Blue Dot Network begins its global roll-out with a meeting of the Executive Consultation Group of over 200 business, civil society, trade union and academic leaders who have supported the development of the certification framework since the Group’s inaugural meeting in 2021. The meeting will be followed by a High-Level Leaders’ Dialogue.

The High-Level Leaders’ Dialogue will focus on how governments and the private sector can work together to promote the global take up of Blue Dot Network certification. The dialogue brings together leaders from Blue Dot Network member governments and businesses, represented in the Executive Consultation Group, a community of over 200 business and civil society leaders, who have supported the development of the Blue Dot Network.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will host U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard R. Verma and Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs Helene Budliger Artieda to mark hosting of the Blue Dot Network. They will be joined by representatives from Blue Dot Network member governments - Australia, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and the United States. The event for the Blue Dot Network is followed by the OECD Infrastructure Forum over the next two days.
