Amine Idriss Adoum is a Senior Director at the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA-NEPAD), where he leads the strategic management of the directorate for Infrastructure, Industrialization, Trade and Regional Integration. With over 20 years of experience in the public and private sector, he has a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects and programs that foster Africa's economic growth and regional integration, in line with the strategic deliverables of Agenda 2063.
He has played a key role in implementing the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and the Accelerated Industrial Development of Africa (AIDA), securing funding and partnerships for priority projects, ensuring alignment with continental policies and frameworks, and facilitating cross-border cooperation and coordination. He is passionate and driven by the mission of transforming Africa into a prosperous, peaceful, and integrated continent that can leverage its human and natural resources to achieve sustainable development and social justice.
