Description
Mr. ONODERA graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering, Hokkaido University and joined the Ministry of Construction in 1988. After holding various governmental positions such as at the Policy Bureau, the Road Bureau, the Regional Bureaus at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), he worked for JICA as Director General of Infrastructure Engineering Department from 2017 to 2019 and Senior Vice President from 2021 to 2023. He then has been serving as Deputy Minister for International Projects of MLIT, since October 2023.
