Description

Jesse Jackson serves as the firmwide head of Learning and Career Experience for JPMorgan Chase. His responsibilities include the global management, direction and strategy development of this human capital development focused corporate function. The globally distributed and high impact learning and development team supports more than 250,000 bank employees worldwide in addition to developing learning content for strategic vendors. He has been with the firm for over 25 years, joining the bank via the firm’s Management Development Program after completing five years of active duty in the United States Navy. He has also held several national leadership roles within both Commercial Banking and Business Banking, serving as Client Service Executive for both lines of business. Jesse has also held various Consumer Banking management roles including Branch Manager, Sales Manager, and Division Sales Manager. Jesse earned a Doctorate Degree in Education at New York University with a concentration in Leadership and Innovation. He also holds a Master degree from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, both with a major in Economics. He completed JPMorgan Chase’s Advanced Credit Training and JPMorgan Leading through Execution leadership training. Jesse holds a Six Sigma Quality Improvement Black Belt and a Total Quality Management Team Leader certification. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of BOLD (Black Organization for Leadership Development) Business Resource Group. He serves as a strategic advisor for HERE TO HERE, a not-for-profit focused on creating career pathways for disadvantaged youths. He is a board member to Education Trust a not-for-profit focused on education equity and is a guest lecturer at Cornell University’s Industrial and Labor Relations program. Jesse resides in New York with his wife and son.
