Radi Simeonova is a seasoned economic development and business professional, boasting over 15 years of experience with a specialization in business attraction and state recruitment strategies. Currently serving as the Managing Director, Business Development at a U.S. state government agency, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing business services, managing programs, and crafting customized proposals to attract companies to Washington state. Based in Seattle, Washington, Radi spearheads foreign direct investment activities, actively participating in state recruitment missions and events such as the SelectUSA Summit in Washington, DC. She is eager to share her in-depth knowledge on how U.S. states strategically compete for business, drawing insights from her extensive hands-on experience in state government. Before her engagement in the public sector, Radi served as an international liaison at a U.S. clean tech start-up, managing relationships in regions including SE Asia, Europe, and Latin America. A native of Europe, Radi earned her B.A. in Journalism from Sofia University before relocating to the U.S. to pursue her Master’s degrees in Communications and Business Administration (MBA) from the University of New Mexico.
