Description
Bilal Ilhan holds a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from INCEIF and has 8 years of experience in foreign direct investment, financial services, and private wealth management. He currently serves as the Research and Data Management Unit Manager at The Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, The Investment Office. In this role, he prepares and supervises reports and presentations across a wide array of domains, including foreign direct investment, the investment climate of Türkiye, macroeconomic outlook, and international trade, among others. Additionally, he is involved in the preparation of national foreign direct investment strategies and contributes to surveys, research, and reports that support the policy advocacy engagement of the Office. Previously, he served as an executive manager in the private sector and as a country advisor to the Investment Office of Türkiye. His experience in the private sector equips him with instrumental skills that enhance the services he provides to his organisation.
