Description
Gustavo BolÃvar Moreno is the director of the Department of Social Prosperity. With an outstanding political career, he was senator of the republic for two terms, from July 2018 to December 2022, after being elected as part of the List of Decency coalition. During his time in the Senate, he stood out as speaker of the government's Tax reform and as president of the Third Commission, one of the most relevant bodies for the country's economic discussions. In 2023 he was candidate for Mayor of Bogotá.
Gustavo BolÃvar has also been president of Fundación Manos Limpias between 2011 and 2018, a non-profit organization focused on promoting the fight against corruption and driving social transformation processes. In addition to his political career, he is a renowned librettist and writer, contributing from culture to the construction of new social narratives.
