Derek studied Computer Science and joined JPMorgan as a software engineer. He spent 20 years building solutions for their Markets business and led large, global software engineering teams. Since early 2016, he has been focused on JPMorganChase’s technology workforce strategy - particularly recruitment and talent development to ensure a highly adaptive workforce ready to anticipate and adopt emerging technologies & modern engineering practices to enable evolving business needs. He loves getting hands-on with data analysis/visualization and has been known to do this in his spare time.
