Description

Pablo has worked at the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) since 2018 as Technical Officer for the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office. He supports stakeholders, including government officials, producer organizations, and academic institutions regarding sustainable bamboo use and management. His responsibilities include project design, implementation support and monitoring, training program development, and communication product creation. Before joining INBAR, Pablo spent 9 years in various Ecuadorian public sector roles, developing social inclusion programs, rural development, direct marketing channels for farmers, and local, national, and regional policy instruments. Throughout his career, Pablo has managed projects and collaborated with local governments and international organizations to promote sustainable practices and economic growth in rural communities. He holds a degree in Agronomy, a Master’s in Public Policy, and is fluent in Spanish and English.
