Biography

Cris Coxon is a Senior Principal Analyst at the UK Ministry of Justice having previously held various roles in government research including the Office for National Statistics, the Home Office and within the Ministry of Justice. He has over a decade of experience working on a range of Access to Justice topics and currently leads the Access to Justice Evaluation programme supporting a variety of policy initiatives. These include Legal Support, which pilots different forms of early legal help, and Dispute Resolution, which delivers streamlined pathways through the justice system including maximising the potential of ADR. Cris has strong research interests in developing robust evaluation approaches grounded in practical reality, in exploratory analysis to assess the potential for better Access to Justice impact and VfM work, and in communicating analysis in novel and interesting ways to enhance its impact.
