Marta Esquivel RodrÃguez is the Minister of National Planning and Economic Policy of Costa Rica.
She is a lawyer with extensive experience in constitutional law, labor law, social security, and public policy. She holds a Law degree and Notary title from the University of Costa Rica, a master's degree in Labor Law and Social Security from the Universidad Estatal a Distancia, and a specialization in Public Policies and Gender Justice from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences.
She has held key positions in the public sector. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
