Description
Licensed Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the National Agrarian University La Molina, with experience in senior management and the administration of public and private entities. He holds postgraduate studies in Environmental Sciences, as well as specialized training in public management and finance, and environmental management. Additional qualifications include courses in public investment projects and international cooperation.
He holds a wide experience in the public sector, particularly in the executive management of national, multisectoral programs and projects, as well as in the design of policies and development plans focused on the provision of basic services and rural development. In the private sector, he has contributed to the leadership, design, and implementation of surface and groundwater resource projects, with strong emphasis on sustainable development. He has been president and/or member of boards of directors in public and private institutions across various sectors and public services.
He has a comprehensive knowledge of the Peruvian State’s administrative systems and public sector management, particularly in relation to the Ministries of Economy and Finance; Agriculture and Irrigation; Environment; Housing, Construction and Sanitation; Education; Transport and Communications; and, the Office of the Comptroller General. Additionally, has experience in coordinating and managing multilateral and bilateral international cooperation initiatives.
