Description

Tatiana Gallego Lizon is an urbanist and engineer with over 20 years of experience in international development. Tatiana has extensive experience in international finance and development, industry, and research. She is currently the head of the Housing and Urban Development Division at the Inter-American Development Bank and previously led the Asian Development Bank's Southeast Asia Urban Development and Water Division. Tatiana holds a Ph.D. and an MEng in engineering from the Imperial College, London, and a PGD in public policy from the School of Oriental and African Studies. Her interests include urban climate change resilience and biodiversity; integrated water resources; regional and urban planning and governance - with a focus on new approaches and forms, including vehicles for economic corridor development; technology and contract innovation for improved service delivery; heritage, culture, and identity in the urban realm.
