In this session, you will learn about and contribute to a new way to engage with the ASM in complex and CAHRA supply chains: mineral credit systems. These approaches have been developed to help overcome barriers associated with sourcing from mining communities. The credits allow downstream companies to enable the transformation of the ASM sector by investing in the mitigation of its risks. This session will be based on the concrete experience of all the actors who are part of these new schemes and will seek inputs from the public to help define what principles are needed to ensure the integrity and transparency of these systems, seeking broad adoption by the responsible sourcing community.
