Precious metals mining is a mainstream revenue for most of the African countries. There is also a greater reliance on this sector for providing employment and driving economic activity, however, it has been a challenge to streamline the Artisanal and Small Scale Gold Mining sector. In this essence, the refiners from the UAE certified for the Good Delivery standard by the Emirates Bullion Committee, want to discuss and engage with various industry programs working on the ground and the government representatives to explore and identify the avenues for working together towards promoting responsible mining and support the development of sustainable mining communities.
