About the Conference

9 and 10 February 2022, Seoul, Korea

This Ministerial Conference will both celebrate the achievements of the OECD Southeast Asia Regional Programme (SEARP) to date, as its ambitious second phase draws to a close, and look forward, identifying the digital, environmental and social challenges faced by the region due to the COVID-19 pandemic. How can governments transform these into opportunities and build a human-centred future?

During its second phase (2018-2022), and under the Co-chairmanship of Korea and Thailand, the SEARP has evolved into an acknowledged platform through which OECD and Southeast Asian countries foster mutual learning and exchange good practices. The SEARP has achieved solid outcomes in its promotion of regional integration and support to domestic reform processes in Southeast Asia.
