Description
Sergio Arzeni is President of the International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises – INSME, a body of prominent stakeholders fostering entrepreneurship and innovation and internationalization of SMEs based in Rome. Arzeni is also Member of the Advisory Board of SRM, the Research Centre on the Mediterranean of Intesa San Paolo Bank, in Naples; Board Member of GEI, Group of Industry Economists. Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Emerging Economies (published by Sage, London).
For over 30 years he worked at the OECD in Paris promoting the culture of Entrepreneurship and SMEs and was the first Director of the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, responsible for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Local Economic and Employment Development and Tourism. Under his leadership the OECD Scoreboard on financing SMEs, Entrepreneurship and the SME Policy Benchmarking Report were launched.
