The Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation is a private foundation for public benefit with the primary purpose of promoting scientific and scholarly research in the humanities and social sciences. The Urban City Research department aims more specifically at generating knowledge and research on how to build cities for people – with a direct focus on the importance of public spaces in our cities.
