Attila Fülöp
State Secretary for Care Policy, Ministry of Interior
Mr Attila Fülöp graduated as an economist at Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration. He then obtained a postgraduate degree in computer science from the Budapest Tech IT faculty Neumann János.
Since 2022, he has served as the State Secretary for Care Policy at the Ministry of Interior, where he is responsible for policies related to social welfare and care for vulnerable social groups. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, he was the State Secretary for Social Affairs and Inclusion at the Ministry of Human Capacities. Between 2015 and 2018, he served as Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Human Capacities in the State Secretariat for Churches, Minorities, and Civil Affairs, managing policies affecting religious communities and minority groups. Earlier roles included Chief of Cabinet and Deputy State Secretary for the State Secretariat for Social, Family, and Youth Affairs, where he coordinated the development of social policies and family-oriented initiatives. Prior to his government duties, he worked as a stock broker and managing director.
