Description

Lies, misleading information, conspiracy theories, and other forms of “untruths” have existed for as long as there were people to create and spread them. However, digital technologies make producing and disseminating the collection of untruths much easier and faster. This panel will explore ways that technology and policy can help mitigate the harmful effects of such information on people and society.
