Extended producer responsibility is an environmental policy approach through which a producer’s responsibility for a product is extended to the post-consumer stage of the product’s life cycle. Across the globe, EPR policy for textiles is rising on national policy agendas. Through two panel discussions, this session explores experiences from early adopters of EPR for textiles and discusses how the EPR approach can help achieve a circular economy at scale.
