Organised by: GoodWeave International, The Rights Lab - University of Nottingham Whilst efforts to improve working conditions in Bangladesh’s RMG sector have advanced in the last decade, there is still little understanding of modern slavery risk, especially in hidden tiers of the supply chain. This session will provide first-hand insights into risks of labour exploitation linked to global RMG exports in Bangladesh, and actionable recommendations for more effective human rights due diligence uptake.  The session begins with presenting findings on modern slavery and child labour from a recent research study conducted across 20 industrial clusters in Dhaka and Chattogram.
